The buchiflex flexible glass piping system is based on a ball-and-socket glass joint design with a PTFE seal. Flame-polished contact surfaces ensure residue-free operation and simplified cleaning. 

Unlike static flange connections, buchiflex automatically compensates for axial and radial movement caused by temperature changes, installation tolerances, or operational loads. This self-aligning design prevents stress transfer to the glass and removes the risk of glass breakage.
